Legends never die

Ieri, 14 Novembre 2018, sarà un giorno ricordato da tutti i praticanti e gli appassionati dell’Armwrestling mondiale con grande tristezza e dolore.

Il più forte atleta al mondo nonchè campione nello sport e nella vita, Andrey Pushkar, è morto in un tragico incidente stradale. Si stava recando, insieme ad un altro grandissimo campione, Oleg Zhokh, in Polonia per partecipare allo Zloty Tur.

Un lutto che ci addolora fortemente. La federazione Italiana, direttivo, staff organizzativo, arbitri e tutti i suoi associati porgono sentite condoglianze ai famigliari e persone vicine.

Oleg Zhokh, che in questa disgrazia ha perso il padre, è ora in terapia intensiva ed è molto grave. Il nostro augurio è che si possa salvare.

Nessuno dei presenti, e dei futuri atleti del nostro sport, dimenticheranno mai Andrey. Rimarrà per sempre l’atleta imbattuto.

Yesterday, November 14th, 2018, will be a day that all armwrestlers in the world will remember with sadness and suffering.

The strongest athlete in the world as well as champion in sport and life, Andrey Pushkar, died in a tragic car accident. He was going, along with another champion, Oleg Zhokh, to Poland to take part to the Zloty Tur.

A mourning that grieves us strongly. The Italian Federation, the executive, the organizational staff, all referees and all its members offer heartfelt condolences to family members and close people.

Oleg Zhokh, who lost his father in this accident, is now in intensive care and is very serious. Our wish is that he can survive

None of those present, and future athletes of our sport, will never forget Andrey. He will remain forever the undefeated athlete.
