Sono soddisfatto per la gara e per la partecipazione degli atleti. Metà delle strade in Italia sono bloccate a causa della neve e molti atleti non sono potuti venire. Nonostante questo abbiamo avuto 110 atleti iscritti. Le nazioni presenti erano: Spagna, Svizzera, Slovacchia, Armenia, Ucraina,  Moldavia e Sud Africa.

Molto belle le sfide con i grandi campioni Opperman e Bieli. Complimenti a Opperman anche per la sportività e la gentilezza: dopo la gara ha fatto decine di incontri con tutti e ha risposto a tutte le domande degli atleti. È stato un piacere avere Opperman e Bieli alla nostra gara!

 

Italian Armwrestling Federation’s President Claudio Rizza :

I’m really satisfied for this tournament and for the number of athletes. Half of italian roads are closed due to the snow and so many athletes couldn’t come. Despite this fact we had 110 athletes in this tournament, with armwrestlers from these countries : Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldavia and South Africa.

The two Supermatches were really great, with champions like Opperman and Bieli. Congratulations to Opperman not only for his win but also for his sportiveness and courtesy : after the tournament he pulled many and many matches with everybody who wanted to try with the champion on the practice table, and he answered  to all athletes’s questions, he is a real gentleman. It has been a real pleasure to host such champions like Opperman and Bieli at our tournament!
